Unless there is a change in immigration laws it will be very true that you cannot apply for 485 in the next 5 years. To make something happen it is very important to attend DC Rally.
So folks who are reading this, notice the importance of the Rally and your presence at the rally.

I initially went to FedEx/Kinkos new jersey, paid 50 bucks for myself and wife 6 copies each. Photos were horrible with yellow tinge, though they were of the correct specs. I refused to accept it, but they said if there are any issues they will be glad to help, but I had to pay for their crap.
Then I went to Sears, around 60$ for 6 copies each for myself and wife. The prints were excellent, waterproof and not retouched. They printed it out on immigration specified sheets. Only catch was I had to cut out the photos myself, they are not allowd to cut them.
My photos have a bright background and I do not see that yellowish tinge you are talking about. Again, one cannot brush all kinko's or all walgreens the same I guess. Ofcourse, what is bright is probably again left to the USCIS officer's judgement. Hopefully it will not be an issue. the only thing I noticed was that my photo was taken very close up to adhere to the USCIS requirements. He was zooming in a lot. Is that the same with everyone else too?

Being a big company they may have their own IT dept. If we can find out if they either outsource their IT dept or hire H1-bs than he may not have much to argue..my 2cents.

In your case, to file AC-21 to change employers, you need to have approved I-140 and will have to wait for 180 days from the 485 receipt.
Just google search Yates memo pdf and you will find it. G-28 is a form that is filed to authorize a lawyer to represent you with USCIS.

Currently where I am working client willing to hire me as a fulltime employee with the same titile and giving me the supporting letter with the same job duties mentioned in my LC (I have added few more technologies it).
Even my attorney says the same, no need to inform CIS - when we get the RFE we will see.
Can you kindly let me know all the documents I need to gather and what I need to request from new employer in order to submit AC21 bunch to CIS.

In other words those who choose to go through emp based CP or family based Green Card which US embassy issues, go through Indian hospitals in Mumbai and Delhi. Im july 5th filer .Filed I140 and I 485 conc .Opened SR for FP because didnt recieve it till NOV .In NSC_CSC_NSC.next day after opening SR i got Fp notice .Obvously nothin to do with SR .Got reply for SR after a month which says " Status I-485 USCIS is waiting boimetrics info to produce permanent residency card "
