One more time - Why don't you explain to everyone how is telling the OP that we do not condone taking or selling drugs something of a personal opinion? And how is it like "shoving personal moral" on someone's face?
You have managed to dodge this question for a long time now. You have gone over all my other threads and what I have and have not done in those threads except provide me with an anwer to the above question. When will you learn to provide an explanation backing up your opinion and comment? How old do you have to be, to be able to substantiate your argument with valid reasons?

realized late that he had the expiry date wrong in his mind. So he has applied and it is > 100 days. They moved the already CPO date from Oct 10 to 29th, stating "lack of printable cards" (learned through info pass).
Imagine he is sitting at home, not working for > 3 months because he did not keep track of his expiry dates.
Because of one negligence, he is losing a lot of salary by not working. :(
The current EAD delays is certainly scary. Hope it is an exception not the norm.:mad:

Pune, India in 1996, i just filled out a form, attached a no objection certificate from my company and got a check in 2 weeks. I did not have to pay a dime, i wasnt asked any. I guess it was probably because i was in no rush to get the money.
I try not to pay out money in india, it takes time to get things done, but they do get done...maybe things have changed alot since, but i hope it should not be that bad.
I do not know in which city of India you took out your PPF.,
But I heard you have to pay atleast 5% to get PPF back in Hyd.,
Hope corruption will not be that high by next 20 years in India!!

Is this supposed to be cribbing, just for the heck of it? In what way can getting a 2 yr EAD be bad news?
For EB ROW, if they issue 1 yr EAD...does tht mean their 485s are not approved for at least 1 yr?
Received 2 year EAD card in email. Card is valid from jul 30th 2008 to jul 29th 2010. My PD is current.(May 06). Dont know if this is good news or bad news.

Never say never, I dont know what my kids will do, they will go where is best for them.
And Best is not just GDP, Romania hast 4 times more GDP per capita compared to India, but I don't see my self going back there. Coruption, stupid mentality, etc. dis will not change with GDP growth, to change the mentality of the people you need a couple of generation to die until you get somwhere close to USA.:(
I agree with you on that. But the US is not on the right track when it comes to skilled immigration and it may cause severe problems for it later. Already smart kids in India/China don't mind staying home with the life/salaries and work opportunities. Things are changing and the US better get its game up or innovation will slowly shift overseas.

Why is everyone blaming just the Chinese University for trying to circumvent the immigration system? It says 95% of the students were from Andhra Pradesh. These are the people who are causing delays in reforms and we pay the price by being stuck in the hole. It is not that i have full basket of apples now... my previous 2-employers promised me to start labor...but they did not do it..even i sent my docs 2-times to the previous employer ..but they gave lie assurances & very dumb...so i have lost my 2.5 years just waiting on their promises...& nothing got.
Finally, I made up my mind ...either to get it on fast track OR leave this option... forever.
I don't see anything wrong in it...as the previous person already left that labor unused... & employer needs those skills..which he found in me.

Thats true..everybody are bothered about EAD and FP. I am here for more than 8 years in this country. IV should emphasise this and USICS should allow affected candidates like us to file I-485 and atleast get EAD. we have priority date earlier compared to others.

If you had gotten a chance to file 485 you too would be discussing about EAD and AP... I came to US in 95.., filed my first Labor in 2000... got laid off in 01... started my labor process with 2nd company... the company shut down!! filed 3rd labor in 2003... All this time the 485 was current all the way till sept 30th 2005... But I was stuck in PBEC... Labor cleared 1 week after retrogression in 2005! Finally filed in June 07... got GC 3 days after finger printing! thats life... you just do what you have to do and move on!
