No matter how bad an employer is, one should inform before quiting...atleast one day in advance!
Bring IRS in to picture, let them deal these kind of cases...U should be OK in getting W2
Don't worry about losses and cases, it will cost him more if he gos to court.
He sent me an email to pay $3500, do you think he will go legal for this, I did not sign any contract with him.
If he goes to court will i loose(he may create documents) or will i be in trouble if he wins the case.
Please suggest.

why 22May06 for India EB2, i think your PD is before that. can you please add two more months, that covers mine too.
i dont have any hope in December bulletin, waiting for next year.
Anyways, I hope all of us should get out of this mess ASAP.

I will start charging for my prediction from next month. I will also extend the prediction for individual cases!!. Who knows I will become a richer than greencard attorneys.

Sometimes in your life you make bad decisions. It happened unfortunately, because my PD is June 2004 EB2 and when dates became current last year, I thought it needs to move just 3 months to have my date current and as per DOS release there were only 3400 visas in EB2 for 2004.
Unluckily I chose for CP instead of 485 and now lying in a dark well.
Anyway please don't sympathize, I'll certainly come out of this situation very soon.

Didnt think this would be so easy - My apologies to everyone for being a lazy person before - from the time of my last post till now, I've been able to get another 12 more webfaxes done through my friends and now they are talking to their friends ( not the common ones ) to get more faxes.

It is best to wait for USCIS to announce this. If this is going to be true, then lots of people who had the hopes of applying for their I140 is just gone.

I think he knows that you won't have the gut to expose him since this will also put you in an awkward situation since you paid for your labor and I-140 which, strictly speaking, is against the immigration law.

I just got my EAD yesterday (with 1 year validity even though PD is not current). My company lawyer will contact USCIS about this, will update once I have any info.
Received only one year EAD .I will have to call USCIS for incorrect validity date of issued EAD.

1) 47000 (primary applicants or with the derivative applicants) ?
2) "Otherwise approvable" Does this mean that these cases have PDs prior to current cutoffs ? Or are they just saying that the application can be approved but have to wait for a visa number when the PD becomes current?

My PERM was filed on 30th March, approved on Aug 11th, received approval copy on 18th Aug, and I-140 to be filed this week.
There was a lot of prep work involved before filing PERM in March. My employer agreed to start the process in Oct'09 and the lawyers started the ads in early Jan.
Yep, lots of work in there. I suppose, the maximum work is in this area.

- The mental effort required to plan the logistics of such a huge event
- The physical energy required to make all this a possibility
- The amount of time the members working on this are sacrificing.. time that they could have spent with family or other gainful things
- The financial impact this is causing to the invloved members
and all just not for themselves but for all of US.
What is your contribution to this effort?

There is no definite answer to this question. USCIS is erratic on that. In my opinion, one's case is opened and process starts as soon as the case is Receipt Noticed. In my case, my PD was current since April, but RD was not. As soon as they reached my RD my app was approved. I think that is the general trend. But, they are not consistent on it. Therefore, no definite answer.

I left my previous employer more than 6 months back , he didnt paid me my final paycheck and i complained to DOL since 3 months...now wehn i asked for my W2 he said me to do whatever i feel and he is adamant at not giving it....moreover he said that his company has suffered losses worth 25K and his lawyer has sent a legal notice in this regard....and when i said how will we file taxes he says he wished for me to be out of status and go back.....
Since i have complained to DOL and also it is more than 6 moths since i left his organisation giving proper notice and have email confirmations, can he issue me legeal notice.....?please advice...
He is also saying that he has written to USCIS that I am fraud,....though I have been working in fortune 100 companies and now also working in reputed company and never lied for anything and was on project from day 1 since I came to States....? can USCIS cause problems for me in future...
Also, he seems to have closed his company..
Folks please advice....

Based on my receipt numbers and looking up on USCIS website, it appears my AOS application that was sent to NSC has been sent to California Center. I have not seen anybody's case being sent to CSC. Dunno how good or bad it is and whether it sppeds up/delays my EAD processing. Anybody had experience with CSC and got any of EAD/AP/GC approved from CSC.
