The dot system if used properly is a good system as other community members can privately control the reputation of each other. Community can also identify posters who are mischief makers by giving them reds and identifying them publicly. This reduces the need for moderators significantly as moderators cannot read every post and every thread everyday. Pls suggest better ways in which we should handle reputation system.
Yes, I agree that dot system if used properly is a good system. I dont mind people giving me red dots but what really bothers me is when people leave nasty comments and use foul language. So is it possible to show/expose user id along with the comments when ever someone uses foul language and leaves a nasty comment? Has anyone ever seen this scenario before??!
Part time worker but a full time student - all on a part time H1 visa? I have talked to one lawyer and a couple of admissions officers. They all say that it should be OK (but they are not crazy about it) but I want to talk to someone that actually did it.

I-140 belongs to your employer and so USCIS only sends to your employer/attorney. For me, they sent it to my employer/attorney.
If your 140 is filed under premium. Just relax and have fun with your family. You will get approved 140 at your home in a week. Good part of the story is, I-140, USCIS sends to your home not to lawyer. :)

Re entry with new H1 in 2003 - will it not reset your prior record straight?
Were you involved in any sort of un authorized employment after your new H1 approval and before I 485 filing?
I believe that April 3, 2002 is your denial notice is the starting point then. Till that point you were legally employed based on the belief that your application will be approved. Again this is just the common sense readout based on what you copied in�
So,if you are less than 180 days here without employment authorization you might have a chance � would be nice to know:
-Why your case was denied at that time (L1B extension???) This usually never happens�
And/or
-What the basis of the straight denial right now? You might want to contact USCIS over the phone (to gain few days) or do you have the letter already?
Anyway ether cases I would contact the USCIS Ombudsman about the straight denial � they should not do it � they usually issue that Notice of Intent first. Search around the threads here - I�ve seen some cases where the applicant received an immediate denial and somehow they were able to push it back to the �let�s talk about it� mode� - which does not mean that you are safe, but it will buy you some time for you.
So your research might be right about the 240 day thing which could put this into a different level.
I cannot recommend any lawyer � I use my company�s one and that office does not take individual cases I believe

However, my Spanish visa doesn't permit me to work for a Spanish company, and my US employer doesn't have an office in Spain so they can't apply for a work permit for me. They do have Indian offices, though.

Only last week I saw an article that said something to the effect that " Want US GC, get Masters". At that time, we all laughed at how these reports are compiled and brushed them off as tabloids.
Unfortunately , this time IV has got the right message and the publicity, but how will an average reader decide which article is saying the truth. People will understand/interpret the news the way their minds wants it to be , regardless of what the absolute truth is.

Hello,
I seemed to have fixed the problem, my father has a Nikon D40x and we read his manual on cleaning, since the D40 and the "X" are very similar.
We cleaned the low pass filter I believe, by using the mirror lock-up option in the camera.
I am now very very happy there is no dirt :)

Spend $200 dollars for a 15 min conversation with any of the top attorneys. Your confusion will be laid to rest.
Just send your questions and all required details to them ahead of time and also write down all possible follow up questions for yourself so that both parties are prepared before the call.
If they say you have to start afresh, then you can consider packing your bags. Good luck!

Person traveling with AP does not require Transit Visa if u dont plan to go outside of Frankfurt airport for what so reason.I had traveled via Frankfurt on 01/07/09.
