Hi,
I will be watching the live coverage of Macworld, but there are time differences, so what time should I log on to see the coverage?
Thanks. :)

12 petabytes? That doesn't seem like too much, actually. that's 1GB of storage for 12 million customers
I think it is being used to hold media content, not for cloud backup type purposes for individual customers

im more than sure your going to get another special event when Leopard launches and it will have iWork and iLilfe launched at the same time as it now seems these are integrating more than before....
Why have everything in the one day, when we now get the chance to sit back, take in what we just say and look forward to something else very soon..:
I have to admit this is a good point, we WILL be getting iWork, iLife and Leopard sometime soon, and most likely new hardware around the same time.

AT&T will force MyWi users to pay $45 per month when they catch them.
Apparently AT&T can detect MyWi usage. Good thing I use TetherMe!

So you go with the company that has shown that is will look for any way to make an extra buck.
I trust Google a hell of a lot more than Apple.
Now that Apple is in the ads game I can tell you they will be a lot worse about sharing your data than Google ever was and will be.
That assessment of Apple's approach to those matters is quite unfair either because you're being disingenuous or because you are not really following Apple's business.
As an example, Apple has deliberately hurt its revenue by refusing to give in to magazines publishers that wanted to get consumer information of iPad users buying their magazines apps.

I have no idea. That's how it's always been for me. I assume it uses the plist converter from Xcode. What versions are you running? I'm using path finder build 1045, Xcode build 4b33a, and OSX build 11a444d.
Ah well, I don't have Xcode installed on my macbook. It's installed on my iMac. Maybe that's why it isn't using the strings converter from Xcode.
I'll check it when my iMac comes after repairs.
Somebody must do a grep in PrivateFrameworks or root (/) to find more instances of the same.
sudo grep -r MobileMe / > ~/grepMobileMeRoot.txt
sudo grep -r Castle / > ~/grepCastleRoot.txt
I have found a lot of instances; may be you can decode them better through this strings converter.

The studios want to avoid the experience of the music industry, which has yet to recover from years of illegal digital piracy.
The best way to avoid the experience of the music industry is to respond to a changing market and give people what they want before they get mad enough to expend the effort to just take it and feel justified.

I wonder how many of these posts are trolls? I haven't had any issues whatsoever with 4.3.1. I also didn't have any problems with 4.3; battery life has been absolutely stellar and call performance actually improved in 4.3.1.
The timing of all these "bitching" posts just seems suspicious.
nah there are issues...lucky for you you don't have any

Usually, I get pretty excited about new technologies and standards, but this just isn't doing it for me...
I've finally resigned myself to having a mirror set of hard drives for backup. Storing to removable media is too hard to organize, requires too many discs, and the optical discs don't have a life span long enough to make me comfortable. With the information density of BluRay I'm sure the recordables are going to have lousy longevity. I'll stick with live copies that I can keep testing the checksums on.
So, for me they're nothing more than a distribution method for high-def video and the fun has even been taken out of that by all the DRM shackles they've wrapped around it. I wonder how many people are really going to throw out their whole home entertainment system just to be able to play BR discs. If the recordable discs are $50, I'm sure discs with content will be at least that much-- and I can't back up this expensive, fragile data? I've got enough $12 DVDs I can't watch on my Mac because they've gotten scratched. Can't watch it on any computer I chose? Can't rip it to my iPod?
(come to think of it, $50 recordable media is probably all the DRM they need... Who's going to make an illegal copy when the blank media costs more than a DVD player?)
And doesn't the DRM phone home?!?
Nah. I'll wait. Hopefully by the time the media price has gotten low enough to make it worth it I'll have found myself with the equipment to actually view them and some Scandinavian kid will have cracked the encryption.

Absolutely essential : Carbon Copy Cloner (http://www.bombich.com/software/ccc.html). Again, absolutely essential software.
Mike Bombich has made it donation-ware, which means it runs with all features but you're welcome to send him a donation if you find the tool useful.
I know I have.
Best,

You are obviously missing the point. Apple's new subscription model is preventing choice from coming to it's customers. How is that not a bad thing?
Apple's new subscription model is preventing publishers from selling our / your private information to advertisers / spammers.
If publishers want to make money and thrive they should do it by earning it and producing quality content, not by selling our private information to third parties.
I'm not saying the FT isn't a quality publisher, just saying this applies to all publishers in general.
