As far as i know PF is controlled by the central government, TCS will not have any say in you withdrawing your money. Generally there is an upto 15% match from the company in your account, and that is yours the moment it is deposited in your account. You should not have any problems withdrawing your money. Your money is yours. Some companies deposit PF monies quarterly, small companies deposit it annually, in those cases you might be screwed if you company did not deposit the money in your account.

Hello Guys,

I have E-Filed for EAD renew on jne 27th and have sent all the supporting documents the following day. But on Aug 6th recieved an RFE for the photos I haven't sent along with the documents and asked me submit 2 color passport photos. It was my understading that I don't have to send the photos while E-filing since they will be taken at the bio-metric appt. I am done with my bio-metric appt. Do i need to contact USCIS about this or is there any thing you guys can suggest me.

Hi,

I had one A# on my EAD (during OPT), as xxx-xxx-xxx, which was expired after OPT was end. Then, after I filed my I485 application, I obtained another A# showed on I-797C form, as Axxxxxxxxx. So I am quite comfused that which one is my current A#. Does A# change with our status? Thanks.
Alien # starts with A. The one your have is your A#, the one you had during OPT is not a A#.

Fellow IVians:

Background:
We are one EAD/AP. (may not matter in this scenario but still mentioning)
My daughter is a US born Citizen and she is under 2 years old with a valid Indian VISA.
She has been living in India with her Grand Parents for the past one year.
She will be travelling to the US accompanied by her uncle & Aunt who are returning to USA at the end of their vacation.

Question:
Since both parents are not accompanying the infant is there some documentation needed?
Has anyone done this before? Can you please post your experiences and suggestions?
I will be preparing a notarized letter of consent along with her Birth Certificate...is there anything else?

Any information will be sincerely appreciated

I completely understand that nothing is ever going to happen in favor of legal immigrants. However, when I saw what really the dream act meant to do, I just thought we should get some senators involved and aware of the plight about the kids of the legal community too. One of my friend has 2 kids and he has been waiting now for over 6 years every single day of that in perfect legal status. what wrong did the kids do? why dont they compare equal to the ilegal kids who are going to be blessed by this bill if it is passed. I am sure IV might not have enough will for this since many of the leaders might not have kids but atleast look at others who have kids and always face the dreaded scenario of having to uproot them from their schools/friendships in case of immigration-related issues.

Maybe you can give me my answer. I imported a file from Swift 3D, published, F12 to view, and then went control enter to view the size. After almost choking when I saw the size it added to my SWF (255K for a 7 letter word, spinning) I decided immediatley that was intolerable to my movie size requirements, and deleted the entire Swift 3D animation from my Movie. Took it out of the frames, the library, every place imaginable. And I was floored to find what it did to my Fla. It ruined it. My Fla went from 605K to 8.9 MEG. For all the various purposes of how I use an Fla, it is ruined. The ghost of that Swift 3D stays with my Fla even today. Like a cancer, cannot get rid of it. Can you tell me how to get it out so I can restore my Fla?

I have read many threads that discusses the pros and cons of using EAD over H1 and the common benefit that everyone mentions is that the salary is usually better for a person on an EAD. I spoke to several people who've started using their EAD and realized that even though it opened up opportunities with companies that do not have a policy of sponsoring H1, it DID NOT give them a boost in the salary.

My question is how do people intend to leverage on having an EAD for a higher salary?

i guess the real benifit in terms of salary is for persons working for (desi) contracting/consulting firms who gobble up most of the profit.
