Well How do you know that all the members who are registered with IV is aware of this Webfax? Did you guys notify them in anyway? Do you expect/mandate all the IV members should be checking the website/forums all the time? No Hard feeling.... Just my 2 cents

1) The immigration debate is really hot. Monday is when the action starts. its not something 2 years down the line. Hence, we hope that members keep on updating themselves by visiting the site regularly
2) We cannot send an email everytime we want to send a webfax because initially we were thinking of sending a new fax every 2 days last week. But on advise of QGA, we decided to send only one fax. If we had gone the route of sending a fax every 2 days, would it be appropriate to send an email every two days? We do not want to associate IV's newsletter with some junkmail that comes everyday!

I never got kWordpad to do this for me. Though after you mentioned it, I went back and took another look. I noticed that if upon opening the window, I clicked on the Bold button first and then went and began typing, the Bold button would return to an unChecked state and my text would not be bold. However if I first clicked once inside of the rich textbox and then clicked the bold button, when I started typing the text would be bold.
So I went into the source and added: "this.MainRichTextBox.Focus();" directly benieth “InitializeComponent” to the Window1.xaml.cs file, so that the rich textbox would already have been ‘clicked’ upon opening and now it works just like wordpad as far as applying styles.
Are you getting similar behavior or not? If its working differently for you, is there any chance you know whats happening here?
Either way, thanks for making me take a second look. And just while I have you on the line, I want to tell you I love the website. The tutorials here are great. Most sites simply give snippits, but don’t give you all of how they achieved this or that feature. So its nice to know that when I start something here, all of the info I need to finish it or get it working is included. I'm looking forward to more in the WPF field.

Just for fun I changed it to: SelectedValue=”Calibri” in the C# file and left the Selected index in Expression Blend at 0. Now when I run kWordpad the combo box has Calibri set as the defualt but resets to Arial as soon as I begin typing in the rich textbox.
What makes this really odd to me is that if it is being set by the selected index in Expression Blend, then the selected index would have to be set at 9 on my computer in order for it to choose Arial as the default (for me 0 is Abyssinica SIL). So where is it getting Arial from; and how is it that it is ignoring both the SelectedDefaultFont and the SelectedIndex? I realize this may seem tedius, but I just hate not knowing... "to be continued" at the end of a tv show makes me nuts too; I'm seeking help.

As far as I can tell, extension tubes have straight-through contacts. They do work well with any lens, at least I've tried it with most of my lenses.
The length of extension is going to limit the focal length of lens that you can use. For example. with a 16mm focal length lens, the 12mm extension (smallest I have or have seen) causes the lens to have an 'infinity' focus that's actually behind the front element of the lens. Only useful for taking a picture of the dust on/in your lens! I suspect using them with a fisheye would be futile, not to mention pointless.
But, I've found a small amount of extension, like 12mm, is very handy for long tele lenses, because of the shortening of the infinity focus point. I found it hard to get close to butterflys with 100mm macro, and putting an extension on either a 200mm or 100-400mm let me over come their minimum focus distance, yet stay farther enough away that the subject didn't fly off.
The 'magnification factor' is much less with this arrangement, than with (for example) the 100mm macro. Much less that 1:1 I think. So it's a trade off, like everything else.
The 'macro filter' or diopter lens works exactly like those magnifying 'reading glasses' you see in the drugstore. You can't stack them like tubes so there's one level of adjustment available to you, plus they only fit one size of lens wherease tubes fit any lens with the correct mount. A filter doesn't decrease depth of field as much as an extension tube does, either.
Lastly, extension tubes are easier and faster to put on a take off, and don't give you problems with finger smudges. You can even hang them on a pinky finger between uses (I often switch them on/off the camera while I;m shooting.

Am in the same situation with my employer
He is doing a direct deposit on to my account and not sharing the paystubs and everytime when i follow up him with paystubs he is saying all cock&bull stories saying that HR is busy with other stuff and cannot do it at this point.
Its been 3 months he is delaying this.
Previoulsy I was receiving my paystbs regularly and all it started is after my H1 renewal and am need to change my employer now and other company is asking for the latest 3 months paystubs for the H1 transfer.
and my employr is thretening for the original H1 B doc and he says that he needs it for companys reference.
Please let me know whome to contact and how to contact and how to get this things done in gettign my paystubs.

What I have mostly heard is that people in consulting jobs are the ones who are having issues at POEs and not the ones in permanent/full-time positions...I am not making a statement here but saying this is what I heard and read.
Even working in IBM become something like a consulting job due to their change in business model. So how would the POE determine that somebody who's a "permanent" (is there such a thing in today's economy) employee is not actually into "consulting". Hey even McK guys are "consultants". I think the word you might be looking for is "salaried" employees.

The future appears bleak and depressing considering the recent FOIA numbers which put EB3 GC wait times at approximately 8-10 years. Is there no hope at all? :(

Job duties and same/similar job functions will be deciding factor. If your GC is for Programmer Analyst and if you become manager as Assets Manager, it will be an issue. If you are promoted as IT manager having significant overlap of job functions, you should be fine.

You do not always have a LUD on your 485 when your EAD/AP is processed. I have had 4 such applications so far, my wife likewise. Once, out of these 8 times(Collectively for both of us) there was an LUD and subsequently an easily cleared up RFE(about current job) for me.
LUDs on 485 are more frequent when you are about to get biometrics notice or when they are processing your file or before your petition is approved.
