NSC probably sent applications to CSC for data entry, I am a july 2 filer, my EAD(I131)/AP(I765) and all receipt notices were sent to me by CSC all are WAC### numbers which means its from CSC, then they sent just the AOS (I485) back to NSC saying they do not have Jurisdiction on the AOS application (Logic behind this is - because my I140 was approved by NSC, I have a LIN### on I140 application).
This transfers happens in the 4 centers all the time no need to worry, there is delay associated though... :(
Anywayz all said and done... I have not received my FP notice as yet...My Receipt Notice date : Aug23
I filed at Nebraska for 485, my 140 is approved by --I donot know but the receipt notice number starts with SRC, i think texas.

Should I expect my application be transferred now to TSC as my I140 was approved there?

Thanks for your post. It does look like EB2 India and EB3 Other Workers will remain where they are. The point to be noted is that EB3 India was not commented upon i.e. EB3 Other Workers is different from EB3 India or EB3 ROW. I don't want to commit the deadly sin of predicting but there is hope that EB3 India might move albeit slowly :p

I filed I-140/1-485 concurrently July 4th. Got my EAD and AP. I-140/1-485 still pending. Is it true that you get FP notice only when your I-140 is approved?

Guys,
I know ROW country may not like this thread, but look at EB-3 India or China, put yourself in our shoes and than you may realize how unfair this country is. In this unprecedented financial turmoil, I feel there are very remote chances for CIR or any package which increase immigration etc would pass, I am taking this initiative to gather as many people I can and go to washington. Again this is not an IV effort. If you are with me , you can spare some time or few days in Washington, please PM me. our sole agenda is bring a 2 line bill to remove country quota...
Instead of asking for removing, perhaps asking for making it in ratio of country sizes might be more palatable. Note that Nepal has same numeric quota as China. I don't know how you can influence or initiate such changes, though.

Yes, I agree.. those roaches need to be crushed down with good governance..Unique Identification Authority of India (UIDAI (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Unique_Identification_Authority_of_India)) project is the first step of that process to have transparency to credit system, risk assessment, tax accountability, govt spending, crime control and so many others.. ... I think it will be a reality in next few years. similar development perspective is up with china now..they increased domestic consumption rather focusing only on exports..

You seem to have got your case approved and you have filed your wife's I485, correct me if I am wrong.
What do you say to people who have been waiting from 2002 and 2003 and 2004, as of today there is no difference for person who got labor approved in May 2007 and case with priority date May 2003. For lot of them it has been a frustrating and stressful period, mainly because their spouses have been idle.
How on earth can you come with this idea, see the traffic on this site now, when core IV team was fighting for the retrogression and other benefits for our cause, there were very few. The world is selfish buddy. I wish you good luck on this idea.

A freind of mine came across a gentleman, who is here on work visa and he is facing a unique problem. He is married to two persons and wants to bring his whole family here in the USA. He was looking for answer if he can get both his spouses and kids here on H4 visas. Currently both of them and his kids are in India. Interesting hmmm :D

They need to make EB GC process a linear one, meaning that you file for labor, then I-140, and I-485 as soon as your first two stages are cleared. Concurrent filing process is a hit or miss. It doesn't make sense anymore when you've so much retrogression.

1. They will get constant flow of applications rather than all at once. Plus they can control it by regulating the flow of I-140 approvals.
2. They will be able to better predict the visa movement based on their inventory.
For people like me, it will be good for two reasons:

2. No more H1B stamping.

What I don't understand is it's not mandatory to inform the USCIS about moving to a different job via AC-21. If you are not required to inform them, then where does the question of AC-21 approval arise ?

This is what you can do - Both in Mumbai and in Delhi, you have USCIS approved doctors who help people going through CP. In other words those who choose to go through emp based CP or family based Green Card which US embassy issues, go through Indian hospitals in Mumbai and Delhi. I think Gangaram in Mumbai has this facility. Ask your wife to get it done from there. Do not wait till the last moment, as someone pointed out, a slight delay in flight could............
Note that for employment based adjustment of status cases, the medicals ABSOLUTELY have to be done in the US by a USCIS approved civil surgeon. One can get the immunizations done in their home country, however the exam has to be done in the US.

This is my first post so forgive if I am not in the right place,
But I have situation where in I need your inputs to decide.
I am working at a clients place and they willing offer me a full time position.
My Labor is approved Oct 2007 and Filed for I-140 receipt pending.
In this situation should I change my job or should I wait for I 140 to be approved or wait till I apply for I 485 , but as you know the priority dates have retrogressed for EB2 and I heard that they will be unavailable shortly.
I always wanted to get a full time right from my Masters but ended up as a consultant as I had to get my H1 done.
Please Advice!

In my understanding when your I-485 is going to be finalized, they see if the I-140 and intentions to work were valid when ur I 485 was filed. In your case I-140 is not even approved...how would you validate your intent?
Even I am not sure if I USCIS would consider my intentions that I have stayed with the sponsoring company for over 2 years after filing of I 140 and more than 1.5 year after the I 140's approval....
