XCode 3 is way old. It was released with Leopard. Since then, we've only really had minor revisions (3.1, 3.2) and very infrequent intervals (3.2 released with snow leopard). I would expect Apple have been working on this for a very long time already.
Many of those features (e.g. the static analyser, which came with 3.2) could very well have been the result of development done for XCode 4.
Since the product was announced which such fanfare at WWDC, I would imagine a release would happen in the next few months. Possibly with the iPad's OS4 update (predicted to be around late August/September).

The recruitment seminar is really relaxed and you will get through it as long as you be yourself, engage with the recruiters and other people there and ask plenty of questions at the end regarding the job. Don't come over too much as a hardcore Apple fanboy but talk about how much you can't put down your iPhone/iPod. During the group exercises, make sure you try and come over as a good leader but good team player at the same time - make sure that your ideas are part of the main focus but be sure to agree with ideas that you wish you though of. Otherwise, just enjoy it as it's really relaxed and you will spend most of the two and a half hours watching a presentation, videos and doing some group exercises. They get through hundreds of CV's at a time and to get the chance to be considered is a good achievement. Just out of interest, what store are you thinking of joining and what position are you after?

The PC version is only $29 so the Mac version will be the same. The console version is $39 but it's still an ok price. This game is wonderful. I downloaded the demo and played it on my PC and it played like a dream.
After you complete a level you have a 'free-play' mode where you can change into different characters and walk around. It's fun being an enemy droid and sneaking past the bad guys without them knowing.
If you haven't seen screenshots or the trailer for the game I say you should look at them before you judge the game itself. At first I didn't know what to think, but after looking at the screenshots and videos I downloaded the demo right away! Heck I even submitted this story and reserved a copy of the game myself! :)

I lined up for the iPhone 3G last year! And I lined up with my girlfriend for the Palm Pre last weekend (http://www.crazyhawt.com/2009/06/06/palm-pre-waiting-in-line-first-impressions/). This year, i'm doing this by mail :). My 3GS should arrive on the 19th.

I know I'm bumping a slightly old post, but I'm in the exact same position as you! I really wanted to get Black to for gaming nostalgia, but I read online that they are planning on a 3D pokemon title, and that game won't work on the DSi. So, I think I've decided to just go and get a 3DS--
Nope. There have been no "official" rumours of a 3DS Pokemon game in the style of Black/White (and the other main series games). Of course the next one will be out on the 3DS. But there have been no rumours surfacing yet and it'll be at least 1 year until we see a new game, with the average being 3-4 years for a new title.
Of course there's always a kid on Youtube who says his uncle Jed works for Game Freak and knows all about the next game ;)

I also got what I wanted; 32gb White on Verizon.
I was about 80 something in line and was out of the store by 5:55. I'm impressed who quickly the sales were handled.

Wipeout (get gold medals in every event) + free expansions
Metal Gear Acid (turn-based game) and Metal Gear Solid: Portable OPs
NES, SNES, Neo Geo, Turbo GFX 16, Genesis, and SMS collection (those should keep you busy for a while). The Metal Slug games alone should eat up at least a quarter of your trip.
if you like puzzle games, then get Mercury and Lumines. You can superset those to eat up most of the trip.
Don't listen to those recommending a DS. The ones worth playing are much too good to be wasted on a trip. :P

I don't get it. I see a box with two sets of letters, FS on top and FF on the bottom. Why do I see that instead of the symbol? On some posts and signatures I see the apple symbol, but for example, BC2009's post is 4 of those boxes and a smiley. Weird :confused:

Well it sounds like you already decided on the Nano. You can't go wrong with it, as long you don't plan on expanding your music library anytime soon.
