I don't really get all the reactions, like it's the end of the world or something. If the iPhone 4 drops calls too much, just get another phone/operator? If it drops bars but doesn't drop your call or connection, then who gives a damn, seriously. You can either buy one and live with it/deal with it/love it or you can just get a refund.
And Steve Jobs is not a liar or crazy. He's a marketeer and a showman and will defend his Apple at all cost and will portrait his company as perfect and untouchable. Don't expect Apple to flat out admit that the iPhone 4 sux, because that would just be silly. That's just not how Apple does things. Either they are going to do a silent revision and fix it or just do nothing. Either way, it's your money, get something else if you don't like it. :rolleyes:

There will be a lot of unhappy customers if there isn't a new iPhone this June, people have come to expect a new one every summer.
AGREED or Apple, If you read this the HTC pyramid will probably come out around then (conf nxt tueday) so if they see that then they will get a wriggle on with the production.... If it does come out in june Apple, Please release by July 2 so I can buy it on a new contract

Been waiting for a white iPhone 4 since day one. So glad that it will finally be released. Can't figure out why everyone here seems to hate on it.

For those 13" owners who are bothered with the fan noise, you really should check out coolbook. I've been running it since I first learned about it and its been fantastic. Battery lasts longer, MBA runs a lot cooler and fan speed has NEVER hit full speed since I started running it.

I agree with the age point. What's exciting for Australian cricket (in a warped way) is that with an aging side and with a young English side, the competition between both nations can only get better.
The Australians are no longer unbeatable. Which sucks from a national pride point of view but is great for cricket lovers!

Because its a "sneak peek" "preview".
Fact is that FCPX is going to be released in June, but be incomplete. The question is how incomplete. Apple probably doesn't know the answer to that either, which is why they are only giving out details for stuff they are sure about.

I hope it's not T-Mobile. They are not in North Carolina. Sure they have roaming agreements with Suncom, but you can't get a local NC number, nor a local number for most of SC. That's a couple million people right there that would not have access to an Apple phone.
It's my understanding that there are a few more US states that have a zero presense from T-Mobile other than roaming agreements.
They are not a "real" national carrier that provides local numbers nationally in the US. They are only national in the sense that they have roaming agreements nationally.
edit: Also, if a company does not own numbers locally, you can not port your number from another carrier to them in that area.

This is perfect timing. My cell phone contract just expired and I'm looking to get a new phone. I hope this comes out sooner than later.Perfect for me, too. I've just about had it with my Nokis 6880. What a piece of useless junk. What are the chances that if it came out, it would come out over here at the same time? Slim, at best, I fear.

Some parts of Microsoft's products are proprietary so cannot be used by anyone else. Also people working for companies that have a majority of Microsoft based systems in use (i.e. nearly all of them) find it easier to interact with everyone else if they are using the same software. I for one am happy with Office 2011 - it enables me to work for most of my clients without having to use my Windows 7 bootcamp.
True, but other 'Office' applications are able to save as .rtf docs right from the outset. There is something more sinister here in my opinion - Microsoft perhaps threatening not to release office for Mac if iWork saves text files. I don't use Pages simply because the extra step of exporting to rtf is a pain when you send lots of email attachments etc etc.
