Let's hope they are trying to patent multiple ideas. I hate to say it, that looks just plain ugly and complicated. I love the ipod for is it's simpllicity. This looks like a mess. To each his/her own.

Is it greed because my client list has an addendum that is a waiting-to-be-my-client list? I'm good at what I do, people want what I do and they're willing to pay me at my current rate. Why would I drop that rate? I'm not a charity. Apparently this is a level at which my business sustains. Considering the waiting list, I'm probably not charging enough. If my clients disappear, then I drop my rate or make other sacrifices to rebuild my client base.

Coolbook is the solution.
I had both an 11" ultimate and a 13" ultimate. I preferred the extra screen real estate so I wanted to keep the 13" .... but the fan noise bugged me.
Flash, running windows via VM, photo editing, moving large files all made my 13" roar. (For whatever reason the 11" ran much quieter doing the same tasks.)
I'd read some posts here about Coolbook, I was reluctant to try it ... as a last resort before deciding to give up the 13" I installed it, used the recommend settings found here in this forum and voila my 13" has ran much quieter and cooler since.
I can work in Windows for hours, no fan noise, watch Flash everything.
Very impressed, it allowed me to keep my 13"!

i have ipad2 with 4.3 after i saved the shsh using tinyumbrella it shows 4.3.1 in the list of saved shsh, but it does show 4.3 in the installed fw. is that normal?

My wife and I were getting ready to leave for the airport, to fly to New York. A few weeks earlier, we'd gotten the news that her cancer had recurred, and we were going to see a specialist in New York. What about a reinstall?
That's the first thing I tried.. I installed over. I tried uninstalling first by dragging Safari to AppZapper but it "refused" to zap it... I know I can change the preferences but now that I think of, force-removing Safari is not a good idea

Sorry that you can't pirate Mac OSes as easily as some others...You should be able to upgrade directly to 10.2, I did with my 266 G3 running 9.2.2.

One of the things I've always liked about higher res monitors is that my palettes and toolbars are very small. Thus I can fit more palettes on the screen at one time and not have them get in the way.
I hope resolution independence doesn't make my palettes huge, like they look on lower res monitors.

It's impressive that the iPhone is doing so well in the face of the continual public bashing that AT&T is always taking. Does the iPhone have such allure that people are willing to switch to an inferior carrier just to own the device? That itself is pretty amazing.
If that mythical Verizon iPhone does appear in Apple will pretty much own the US smartphone market.

Based on the benchmarks of the 1.25GHz DDR G4, I'd venture to say that we still do not have a full implementation of DDR memory, though a full implementation of DDR memory would provide little or no boost in most processes. I think that we are merely seeing the advantage of a 166MHz system bus, as opposed to the 133MHz bus that we saw for so long.

I don't think apple cut Kanye's performance from the webcast just because of a few F-bombs. They cut it because it sucked. Not only in content, but in quality. I can't say I'm a huge hip-hop fan, but I do know a decent performance when I see it. That was more like bad karaoke. Even though I'm sure I wouldn't have liked his performance if it were his whole posse playing on a studio album, the setup they had didn't do him justice.

He's thinking that the app checks if there is a VPN connection on the iPad. If the connection is done on an iPhone then tethered to the iPad it wouldn't see a VPN connection on the iPad.
So I had my friend try it and iphone doesn't seem to be able to connect to VPN and do mywi at the same time. VPN disconnects after mywi connects and won't reconnect after.
PPTP vpn on my android doesn't work with my firewall so i can't test it either
